Leash Reactive Dog Clinic
Prerequisite: For existing group or private clients of A Better Pet LLC only.
Is your dog reactive to certain triggers when walking on leash? Does he bark/lunge at strangers? Whine and fuss when seeing other dogs? Pull and spin at squirrels? Moving trucks? Kids on bikes? Do you avoid walking altogether or just sneak out in the dead of night to avoid confrontations? Do you want to learn how to walk two dogs at once with greater control and fun? This is the clinic for you.
Spend a quality 2 hours working on better understanding the triggers and how to help your dog develop the confidence and trust to lessen or, hopefully, eliminate his/her reactivity to triggers. This specialty clinic is limited to 4 dogs and will include a “field trip” for real life situations.
$80 per dog. Please email for more details or to get on registration list. If this date fills up or isn’t good for your schedule, you can also get on a waiting list for future clinics. This clinic will be offered periodically and year round.
Have a specific issue that requires fine tuning? Have a group of friends with dogs with issues? Want to set up playdates in your own backyard? Let us know and we’ll help you carve out a solution. No problems too big or small. No dog too young or old.
