Q104 APL Radiothon Har-Vest Demo
I currently have 3 well behaved dogs – thinking of adopting a 1 year old Stndard Poodle from the APL. It is obvious the prior family did not work with the dog. My husband nd I both work and want to make sure the new dog would not upset the chemistry – I was interested in the board and train for a more intensive training – thoughts?
Well, adding another animal to the mix will initially upset the chemistry — but with the proper introductions, some training and patience, there’s no reason why a newbie can’t enhance the group. It’s also a faster and easier proposition if you already have well trained and behaved and socialized dogs — they’ll do the hard work if you let them! I’ll write you more detail privately….
