All groups, clinics & classes are held or begin in the fenced in backyard of A Better Pet in Cleveland Heights. Held rain or shine (with the exception of thunderstorms) so dress appropriately!

SIX WEEK GROUP CLASS OPTION

Developing group skills.

This six week class introduces or further embellishes the user friendly concepts in The Six Pillars of Dog Training Wisdom which includes teaching your dog basic manners, socialization to other dogs and people, group play, opportunity to ask lots of questions and have a great time with your developing puppy or young dog. Each week builds on increasing skills in harder and harder challenges while having fun. Family friendly. Outdoor location, held rain or shine. Each 75 minute class includes an optional FREE post class DIP to ensure a very very tired pup!

SINGLE SESSION CLINIC OPTION

Want the experience of practicing basic skills in increasingly difficult levels based on The Six Pillars of Dog Training Wisdom’s 3 D’s, share in the joys and calamities of rearing well behaved dogs?  Brush up on a particular skill or behavioral chain challenge? This is your chance to do it all. Whether you come for one clinic or all  (see dates below), this is the group for you! Each group will include a structured 75 minute group experience to help you and your dog develop increased confidence and skills and work at your own level. Each group includes supervised off leash play. This group experience is limited to no more than 8 dogs per session, AGES 2 AND UNDER and tuition includes DIP following each class.  Please email for more details. Participants need to fill out and bring REGISTRATION FORM and WAIVER to session. (read on for services for dogs over the age of 2)

Growly Dog Clinic

Are you fearful your overbearing dog might hurt someone or something? Leash Clinic too tame for your wildebeest? Dog/Dog and Dog/Human aggression are two different problems. While some dogs may have both, generally clients are more concerned with one over the other. Regardless of dog/dog, dog/people or both, this is the clinic for you. In this closely controlled and supervised session, you will learn what triggers your dog and how to get a grip so you can increase your confidence in handling your dog regardless of environment. We’ll discuss use of various equipment to help in the process, how The Six Pillars of Dog Training Wisdom Protocols will help you succeed after the session and more than likely, you will see your dog be off leash and social by the end of the clinic. There are no limits to the number of clinics you can attend — I am well aware the process of change happens at a different rate for people and dogs. FOUR DOG LIMIT per clinic. Participants need to fill out and bring REGISTRATION FORM and WAIVER to session.

COST: $100 per dog – 2 hour session
